The Clay County Historical Society’s History Museum offers a broad range of documents and artifacts depicting the everyday activities and way of life in Clay County Florida during the past century. There is a fully equipped train station and an irresistible red caboose on the campus at this Historical Triangle site as well. The collections include early phonographs, medical equipment, cameras, typewriters, toasters, sewing machines, dolls/dollhouse, vintage clothing, printing press, switchboard, telegraph and many other items of everyday working and living.
Except for holiday periods when the museum may be closed, exhibits are open each Sunday (2 PM – 5 PM). Historical Society volunteers provide staffing and are available for scheduled tours at other times if requested in advance.
