Sorbello’s Sicilian Restaurant
Sorbello’s Sicilian Restaurant has been serving the Jacksonville area since 1996. The husband and wife team of Sara and Nicola Sorbello opened the restaurant after being urged to do so by several friends.
Sara met Nicola in Sicily while serving in the Navy. When they moved back to the Orange Park area, they missed the Sicilian food, and since none was offered here, they decided to open a place of their own.
“This is a friendly place,” Sara said. “We have a lot of repeat customers and know most by name. If a customer wants a special Sicilian dish that is not on our menu, we will be glad to make it.”
Sorbello’s menu is a wide range of Sicilian favorites. The prices are very reasonable, especially for a restaurant that prides itself on preparing the food just right for each guest. Appetizers such as Bruschetta, Mussels, or Tortellini and Minestrone make a great start.
Sorbello’s offers three great salads: a wonderful house with a homemade vinaigrette, a Chicken Caesar, and a beautiful Antipasto Siciliano platter.
One of the best things you will eat at Sorbello’s is the homemade, hot, and fresh-from-the-oven rolls. They are truly incredible.
Sara and Nicola believe in only serving the best: “We have food delivered here every day,” Sara says, “Lots of seafood, salmon, grouper, mussels, and all our food is cooked to order and made from scratch.”
To top off your excellent meal, Sorbello’s also offers homemade Tiramisu and white and chocolate cream Cannolis for dessert.
