This motorsports competition is a crowd favorite with the competition taking place on Saturday evening and again on Sunday. Get there early, as seats tend to fill up quickly for the excitement.
The other popular big wheel at the Clay County Fair? The ferris wheel and the popular Midway rides! Climb aboard the classic Century Wheel, go for speed onboard the Fireball or spin high above the ground on the Vertigo and the Yoyo ride – all providing plenty of thrills. For rides the family can enjoy together, choose from the popular Tilt-a-Whirl, the Dragon Coaster and even the Merry-Go-Round to make memories. Special ride pricing days include armbands for unlimited rides and even BOGO armband days during the fair.
Pig Squeals
At the heart of the Clay County Fair is the livestock exhibits and shows. Local, Clay County students active in 4-H and FFA have the opportunity to show off the animals they’ve been raising over the past year. These animals are on display throughout the fair with many of the students on hand to answer questions and expose fair-goers to the world of agriculture. Browse the livestock area to see chickens, bunnies, cows, horses, goats, pigs and more. The kid’s ag-tivity area lets children learn about the animals and agriculture and how it pertains to everyday life.
