Clay County is excited to announce the opening of the new Clay County Outdoor Adventure Park. Located just south of Middleburg, this expansive new complex is near Camp Blanding with discussions for future expansion already in the works.
At 158-acres, the park is home to a 200-yard, 30-target-lane gun range and welcomed its first visitors on October 7th. The range accommodates two people in each of the 30 bays. Shooters can use any firearm up to .50 caliber, semi-automatic, and fully automatic. Please note that range staff reserves the right to deny any firearm they deem unsafe.
Clay County Outdoor Adventure Park Rates and Membership Fees
Various daily rates and membership options are available for Clay County residents, visitors, retired law enforcement, and active and retired military personnel. Memberships include no range usage fees, lane waitlist priority, guest passes, a discount fee for a second person sharing the lane (one per day), discounts on pro shop merchandise and one free range shirt. Age Ranges and Safety Precautions
You must be a minimum of 12 years old to use the range, and children ages 12-17 years old need to be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian to shoot. Shooters between 18-20 must be accompanied by someone over 21 to shoot a handgun.
Safety is a major aspect of the facility with built-in features including a ballistic sand downrange, a range tower and a control tower. All participating shooters must complete a safety training video and sign a waiver. Range officials will be onsite at all times while the range is open. The well-lit range is also equipped with security cameras. Range staff will provide safety glasses and hearing protection with additional safety gear for sale at the range. Hunting is not allowed.

What are the Hours of Operation?
The range is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
