Clay County is excited to partner with Airstream Ventures for the return of the MotoSurf Continental Cup to Keystone Heights April 20-23, 2023. In its second year at Lake Geneva, the international motorized surfboard competition features competitors from Mexico, Canada, Great Britain, France, Italy and the United States.
With men, women and youth divisions, this two-day competition is set to bring thrills and excitement as the athletes compete for the Continental Cup title. CBS Sports TV will be at the event capturing footage for an upcoming 30-minute documentary focusing on this international event.
What is MotoSurf and MotoSkate?
The sport of MotoSurfing originated in the Czech Republic in 2012 and has quickly spread internationally with competitions featuring athletes from around the world. Known as MotoSurf games in the United States, the sport combines classic racing with fuel-powered motorized surfboards and an electric challenge relay-race with fully electric powered boards accompanied with e-Foils – a new segment of personal watercraft sports.
On the shores of Lake Geneva, MotoSkate (motorized skateboard) racing will entertain the fans with a weekend full of fun! On Thrusday, April 20th, the MotoSurf competitors will be giving full access for demo rides to anyone who is brave enough. MotoSkate combines a race course with the fastest times in the event crowing a winner.
