Since opening in 1992 in Jacksonville, Florida, Metro Diner was known as the place for breakfast. With the addition of Master Chef Mark Davoli and his family, Metro Diner began to reimagine old diner classics and turn them into new diner favorites. Signature dishes like our Fried Chicken and Waffles served with sweet and spicy syrup and house-made strawberry butter, Iron City Meatloaf, or our award-winning Bold City Burger topped with bacon, sausage, fried jalapeños and garlic aioli, feel right at home on Metro Diners’ bold and innovative menu — making it the place for breakfast, lunch AND dinner.

So just how standout is our Menu? Enough to make Guy Fieri sit up, take notice and exclaim, “Diners across the world have to take a lesson from this one.” when he paid us a little visit for an episode of “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.”

While our craveable, must-have-again-and-again food is a draw, we know it’s not just about the eats — it’s about the way you’re treated.
