American Farmstead Convention 2024

The American Farmstead Convention is an educational event where families can come together to learn homesteading and farming skills, while building community.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a variety of educational demonstrations such as dairy cow and dairy goat milking, meat chicken raising and butchering, growing microgreens, canning, fermentation, rendering land, medicinal herb education, black solider fly education and processing wild game. You can watch these demos up close and ask questions during the process! Local farmers and experienced homesteaders will share knowledge in growing, raising, and processing food in a sustainable way.
Enjoy food trucks, farm art for kids and a vendor market at the Clay County Fairgrounds!
