Join local fine artist Sophie Dare Designs for a Friday evening class at The Art Room! Each design is from Sophie’s personal collection of photos and paintings. We will be experimenting and learning the basics of acrylic painting palette knife and brushwork, color theory and tips. We will be painting a blue crab on a 11×14 canvas with a traceable template for those who wish to use it.
Feel free to bring your own water, coffee, tea, wine, beer. Red’s Wine Bar is two doors down, you can order and bring down anything you like (sometimes they even deliver!) Spring Park Coffee is one block away and also has a great selection of drinks!

IMPORTANT INFO: Please sign up 3 days in advance of each class so we know how many to be prepared for. 16 students maximum, 4 students minimum. (If the minimum is not reached, the class may be rescheduled or canceled/refunded payment.) Age recommendation: This is a 2 hour, peaceful class designed for a mature audience. This class does not require previous painting or artistic skills, but is not intended for young children.
