Cattle at the Cove

The Clay County Cattlemen are excited to host the Third Annual “Cattle at the Cove” Cattle Show, this weekend January 27-28, 2023! This Event is being held at the Clay County Cattlemen’s Arena, located at the Clay County Agriculture Fairgrounds.

Come join US for our Annual Cattle Show which proceeds go to benefit Local Student Scholarships. Enjoy Great Food from our Cattlemen’s Concession.

This Event is for the Youth of our Community, Neighboring Counties and States. Some coming from as far as North Carolina. This is a Steer, Bull, Heifer Show and Showmanship, much like you would see at our County Fair every April. The Kids will bring their Cattle, (Steers, Bulls, Heifers) and show them. Our Cattle at the Cove Show is the last show of the Season for the Florida Cattlemen’s JFCA Points Event.

Our Judges for the Show are: Paige Miller, from Torrington, WY and Glenn Graves, from Cleveland, AL.

I would also like to extend an invitation for each of you to become a member of the Clay County Cattlemen’s Corp. which is part of the Florida Cattlemen’s Association. Our meetings are held at the IFAS Building every 4^th Thursday of the month.
