Christmas on Walnut Street & Christmas Parade
Christmas on Walnut Street is held on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, from noon to 9 p.m. in Spring Park. It’s Green Cove Springs’ community holiday celebration which spans Spring Park and downtown. Along with craft vendors and food trucks lining the park, Santa will stop by for photos and gifts in Santa’s Workshop hosted by GCS Elks Lodge #1892 in the Spring Park Pool Pavilion. The highlight of the event is the annual Green Cove Springs Christmas parade hosted by Green Cove Springs Business League. This evening parade down Orange Ave. features over 50 floats glowing with lights and is a must-see to get yourself in the holiday spirit. The parade leads back to Spring Park where we end the night with the lighting of the 40-foot tall City Christmas tree surrounded by 200 community-decorated Parade of Trees across Spring Park. Enjoy the first night of this glowing winter wonderland, as these trees are lit every night of the month through December 31.
