1st Annual Golden Rule Social
Please join the Historical Society of Penney Farms for the 1st Annual Golden Rule Social. On Thursday evening, May 11, 2023 from 7:00 until 8:30PM in Kohler Park we will celebrate the Golden Rule, a foundation of the Penney tradition, with our signature event. It will be a family friendly event at no charge. The public is welcome and all are invited to bring a desert and one to share. Ice cream will be provided by the Historical Society as will tables and chairs but golf carts are welcome. Mr. J. C. Penney (aka John Bowles) will visit and background guitar music will be provided by Mr. Steve Griffith. Save room for desert, meet Mr. Penney, get your photo op and help us celebrate the Golden Rule. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to the Museum.
