Hammerhead Olympic and Sprint Triathlon
Welcome to the Hammerhead Olympic Triathlon (aptly named the HOT, and not just because of the acronym) and HOT Sprint Triathlon! The events are held at the beautiful Camp Blanding, Joint Training Center which is about 30 miles southwest of Jacksonville. The swim will be in Kingsley Lake which is one of the Florida’s pristine waterways (no salt water, no sharks!) and usually very smooth for a fast race. The bike course will be entirely within Camp Blanding with little if any traffic, but with a few rolly-polly hills (two loops – one loop for the Sprint distance). The run will be a flat out and back (with little shade) but with plenty of aid stations. Endurance Concepts – J.C. Pinto is the “Official Training Partner” for the 2023 HOT
