The Art Room presents: Acrylic Painting with Sophie Dare
5 students required per class, so bring a friend! All supplies provided.
Each class consists of supplies for a 11×14 canvas painting with traceable template, for those who wish to use it.
Each design is from Sophie’s personal collection of photos and paintings. We will be experimenting and learning the basics of acrylic painting palette knife and brushwork, color theory and tips.
IMPORTANT INFO:
Please sign up 3 days in advance of each class so we know how many to be prepared for. 16 students maximum, 5 students minimum. (If the minimum is not reached, the class may be rescheduled or canceled/refunded payment.)
Age recommendation: This is a 2 hour, peaceful class designed for a mature audience. This class does not require previous painting or artistic skills, but is not intended for young children. Please see our other events for younger artists!
Feel free to bring your own water, coffee, tea, wine, beer. Red’s Wine Bar is two doors down, you can order and bring down anything you like (sometimes they even deliver!) Spring Park Coffee is one block away and also has a great selection of drinks!
