One of Florida’s first state parks, located on rolling sandhills on the North Central Ridge of Florida with one of the few remaining examples of an old growth stand of longleaf pines. A steep head ravine, marshes, lakes and scrub provide habitat for a variety of wildlife. Enjoy hiking or biking the 7.5 miles of trails, canoeing in Little Lake Johnson or birding along the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. Primitive and RV camping sites are available, in addition to cabins that are available.
