Art Guild Gallery

After more than five decades of supporting and elevating professional artists, the Art Guild of Orange Park (AGOP) is proud to announce the opening of its long-awaited public art gallery at 440 McIntosh Street, Orange Park, housed in the historic T.C. Miller School building (Theresa Miller).

AGOP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization composed of over 80 professional artists and has served the Northeast Florida arts community since 1973. The dream of establishing a permanent gallery space has been at the forefront of the Guild’s goals for many years. That vision is now realized in a location rich with cultural and historical significance. The gallery offers a diverse selection of artwork for sale, including award-winning paintings, pottery, jewelry, and other fine art. Many of the paintings on display have received recognition at venues throughout Northeast Florida, reflecting the high caliber of AGOP’s professional artists.

In addition to rotating exhibitions and fine art sales, the gallery includes a museum-style historical component that preserves and honors both the Guild’s legacy and the building’s past. Built in 1938, the structure originally served as a segregated elementary school in Orange Park. It was named after Theresa Miller, a dedicated educator who served Clay County for more than 40 years. In recognition of its cultural and historical importance, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

By transforming this historic site into a public art gallery, AGOP honors the building’s educational roots while creating a new space for artistic expression, community engagement, and cultural preservation.
