Camp Chowenwaw Park Event Venue

Camp Chowenwaw Park in Green Cove Springs features three facilities on site available for rent. Please note that the meeting facilities are available from 10 AM to sunset. Rentals include the building only, as a community park the outside areas are open to the general public. Renters are responsible for bringing their own dishes, cookware, and dish washing supplies.

Three Facilities Available for Rent:

Big Cabin

The Big Cabin is a spacious, ADA-accessible facility perfect for gatherings of up to 150 guests, offering both comfort and rustic charm. Conveniently located just 25 feet from the parking area, this versatile venue features three fireplaces, ceiling fans, electricity, and water fountains to keep guests comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen includes a commercial sink, refrigerator, stove, microwave, caterer’s warming oven, and kitchen sink, making it ideal for catered events or self-prepared meals. Men’s and women’s restrooms are located inside the cabin for added convenience. Your rental includes tables and chairs, along with 20 round 5-foot tables that seat eight guests each. Access to an outdoor stage with amphitheater seating available at no additional charge! Perfect for ceremonies, performances, or presentations. Please note that the cabin does not have air conditioning or heat, making it best suited for mild-weather events.

Kiwita Nature Center

The Kiwita Nature Center is a comfortable, climate-controlled facility ideal for meetings, workshops, and small gatherings of up to 55 guests. Located just 75 feet from the nearest parking area, the center offers air conditioning and heat, electricity, and convenient indoor restrooms for year-round use. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and sink, along with a drinking fountain for added convenience. Your rental includes seven 8-foot by 3-foot tables, additional side tables, and chairs to accommodate your group’s needs. A flatbed cart is also stored in the building for renters’ convenience, making setup and breakdown easy and efficient.

Orange Blossom Building

The Orange Blossom Building is a comfortable, carpeted indoor facility ideal for meetings, classes, and small gatherings of up to 30 guests. With parking conveniently located adjacent to the building, guests will enjoy easy access along with year-round comfort provided by air conditioning and heat. The space includes electricity, indoor restrooms, and eight 30-inch by 6-foot tables with additional side tables and chairs to accommodate your setup needs. The kitchen is equipped with a range, refrigerator, microwave, and sink, making it perfect for light meal preparation or refreshments. This inviting, well-equipped venue offers a convenient and functional setting for your next small event.
