    Please join Gold Head Branch State Park to celebrate the new year with a First Day Hike on January 1st 2026.  There will be a self-guided journaling program that takes guests along the Loblolly Loop and offers opportunities to journal their experience. The event is free with a park entry of $5 per vehicle.
